Rook Bella

Bella, an immature rook, has been rescued in June 2017 after being spotted on the ground being unable to fly and walk. On arrival we found Bella to be in pristine condition having suffered a displaced left-sided tibiotarsus fracture also showing signs of a lung contusion, which suggested that Bella had suffered some sort of impact trauma. The fracture has been splinted and the lung contusion has been treated accordingly. Bella made a full recovery and was keen to join our release flock.
