Carrion crow Castor

Carrion crow Castor came to us as an immature second year bird in June 2017 with canker, coccidiosis and a high worm burden. He also showed a mild deformity and inflammation of his right ankle joint. Castor has been successfully treated and recovered very well. As his plumage did also show considerable wear and tear, we decided to postpone his release until after his complete annual moult to give him the best possible start when returning back into the wild.
